The Windsurfing Classifieds: Help: Rig Components

The Add Rig Components form is to add any masts, booms, and bases that you have for sale. The form is broken down into the following fields and their description:

Field Description

Type This is the type of item you are adding. You have a choice of MAST, BOOM, and BASE.

Year This is the year the rig component was made, NOT purchased.

Quantity This is the number of rig components of this make, model, size that you want to add. This is mostly for dealers who have a number of rig components of the same kinds to sell, for most people this will always be 1.

Make Select a rig component manufacturer from the list. If the manufacturer is not listed please email us ASAP so we can update our list.

Model Type in the model name for your rig component. You do NOT need to include the LENGTH in the model name unless specifically included by the manufacturer.

Length This is the length in centimeters of the rig component you are adding. If you don't know the length in centimeters, use the following formula: [CM = IN x 2.54]

Stiffness This is the stiffness rating of the mast you are adding. If you are not adding a mast, then you can leave this blank.

Style This is the style of the rig component you are adding.

Material This is the construction material of the rig component you are adding. Most rig components are made of carbon these days.

Description This is a brief description of the rig component you are adding. You may use HTML tags if you know how to enhance the look of your ad.

Price This is the price and currency of the rig component you are adding.

Condition This is the condition of the rig component you are adding. A rig component that is NEW has NEVER been used, and may even still be in the wrapper, MINT is rig component that is like new but has been used, GOOD is a rig component that shows some where but has never been damaged, FAIR is a rig component that may have been damaged but has been repaired and is usable, BAD is a rig component that is just a wreck.
